Chair:
Benjamin Slotznick, J.D., Ph.D. (founder) is a lawyer and a software developer. Dr. Slotznick is the inventor of several screen-reader technologies and holds several software patents. A while ago in an academic setting, he conducted laboratory studies of small-group decision making and published articles in peer reviewed journals on game theory. He has also worked as a builder and real estate developer.
Board members:
John Boak is a self-employed artist, graphic designer, and web designer. His work is featured at www.boakart.com.
Stephen Morris is a writer and publisher. He has operated companies and run sales and marketing campaigns. Recently he founded a non-profit Internet book publisher, The Public Press.
Vivian Wolovitz, M.F.A is a tenured professor of painting at Moore College of Art in Philadelphia. Professor Wolovitz has had success as a fine artist and teacher of fine artists. She also worked as a commercial artist before becoming a professor.
Mark Zanger a writer, food critic and editor. He has a particular interest in culinary history and wrote The American History Cookbook. He has also been involved with Internet accessibility issues for people with disabilities.
The original and founding Board of Directors of Accessible Knowledge consisted of James Conroy, Irene Taurins, Benjamin Slotznick, and Vivan Wolovitz.
