Three picture frames hang on the wall; one of the larger yellow ones holds a picture of a man; the other larger yellow one holds a picture of his wife; the faces in the pictures sadly look at the small grey empty frame between them.

 

Once upon a time, there lived a husband and wife.  They loved each other very much.

They desperately wanted a child.  But luck, or fate, was not kind to them.
