Just a few moments later the huntsmen indeed appeared.

One huntsman asked of the wood-cutter if he had seen a fox pass by.

The wood-cutter told them he had not.

But while doing so he vigorously pointed towards his own hut.

A hunter is walking up to the wood-cutter.   The hunter wears a dark brown shirt, dark green pants and a red cap with white earflaps turned up.  The hunter carries his rifle upright, leaning against his shoulder.  The wood-cutter points over his shoulder with his finger and looks in that direction.
